SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise the conduct of audits of business functions of the Company as per approved audit plans. Delegation of roles and responsibilities to assess controls, operational and technical efficiencies, and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations for timely and efficient completion of audit targets. Conflict Management/Grievance Handling on issues with the concerned to create synergy and effective / efficient functioning of all the functions. Undertake special investigations / Fact-Finding assignments on the advice of the Management or Board reported at Whistle Blow Unit, with the aim to add value and identify improvement in processes and environment. Explore technological advancements and encourage team members to be proactive in identifying opportunities and sharing best practices/tools for improvement of the control environment and enhancement of productivity. Liaison with Heads of departments across the organization to understand issues and identify areas for improvement for the organization as a whole. Keep abreast of developments in the Companies Act, Code of Corporate Governance, and other regulatory requirements/ standards and advise management accordingly. ROLE REQUIREMENTS The applicant shall be: Member of a recognized body of professional accountants; certified internal auditor; or person holding a master's degree in finance from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission. Minimum 8-10 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 5 years of relevant experience in Audit, Finance, or Compliance Function at an equivalent position or in a middle management position. The candidate should not be more than 45 years of age as of the last date of submission of the application.
