The Planning Commission of Pakistan is mandated to formulate plans for
overall development in the country. One of its major roles is to advise
the government on economic policy choices. The Chief Economist
steers the economic policy framing.
Applications are invited for the position of Chief Economist Planning
Commission. This position carries the package of a special professional
pay scale. If you have a Ph.D. in economics from a leading national or
international university and you are looking for a challenging but
distinguished career in public service & development economics, the
commission would like to hear from you.
